About the role

As Product Manager you will be part of the Product Management Team and will be pivotal to growing our products and services in line with our strategic goals.  You work alongside our product managers, designers, engineers and business stakeholders to create effective and innovative capabilities across our industry leading HR applications and services. This role will carry strategic responsibility for a defined area of our HR and Employee Self-Service product, and collaborative support for delivery of others.
 
  • Product discovery: Develop and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap. Work closely with Product and Product Design to ensure that we are solving the right problems in the right way. Leverage data such as NPS and usage to supplement customer and market research to support this.

  • Product prioritisation: Turn the product vision into action by driving backlog validated by customer insight. Work with the engineering teams to ensure that planned work is underpinned by clear user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Product delivery: Act as product owner within the scrum team, helping to remove blockers and ensure that product delivery is on time and meets customer needs.

  • Product go-to-market: Work with other Zellis teams in line with the Zellis repeatable release model to ensure successful product release and adoption to initial customers and the market.

  • Product in-life:. Monitor product performance including NPS and usage identifying opportunities for improvement to feed into the product backlog. Evangelism and support to the business stakeholders and customers to ensure that the value of the product is realised. Product life-cycle management.

Skills & experience

  • 5+ years' experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience working as part of a global matrix western-based organisation
  • Experience of working on B2B SaaS products, experience in HR software is an advantage
  • Experience of delivering across the end-to-end product management cycle working across multiple engineering teams (Managing roadmap of market and customer needs, delivery of product and acceptance criteria, refining backlog)
  • Experience in agile methodology and working in a scrum team as a product owner, scrum certification is an advantage
  • Able to influence / communicate with business stakeholders
  •  Have a passion for finding solutions to customer needs
  • A creative force yourself, but equally, facilitate a creative dialog and stimulate others to be creative drivers as well to identify new solutions to customers’ needs
  • Ability to build strong relationships within Zellis and with customers, finding opportunities for mutual benefits.
  • Persistent in bringing strong evidence, with clear communication and influence to mobilise Zellis to deliver great solutions to customer needs
  • Bring a growth mindset, challenging team members to move to best practice and being open to learning from others
  • Smart and restlessly curious to learn new products, technology and business processes (with a solid understanding of these and the commercials of a software organisation)
