About the role

As ERP Integration Project Manager you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the deployment of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems within Zellis Group. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the implementation process, ensuring that the ERP system integrates seamlessly with existing business processes. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT teams and end-users, to gather requirements, manage timelines, and address any issues that arise. As the Project Manager you'll also ensure that the project stays within the time/cost budget and meets the organisation's strategic goals. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for successfully navigating the complexities of ERP implementation and driving the project to completion.
 
This role is a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months, working on a hybrid basis (2 days per week) from our Bristol office. You'll also need to be flexible to travel across other UK and global offices, depending on future M&A activity.
 
Key areas of responsibility will include:
 
  • Project planning and coordination: Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder management: Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Risk management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Budget management: Monitoring project budgets, ensuring that the implementation stays within financial constraints.
  • Team leadership: Leading and motivating project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Training and support: Overseeing the development and delivery of training programs for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new ERP system.
  • Quality assurance: Ensuring that the ERP system meets quality standards and business requirements through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Issue resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation process.
  • Reporting and documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and providing regular status reports to senior management.

Skills & experience

You'll need previous demonstrable experience leading successful ERP system implementations and large projects. You'll also have the ability to translate finance and business problems into automated and system-based solutions. Alongside this, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to stakeholders at all levels. Confident presenting to senior stakeholders.

  • Technical proficiency: Understanding of ERP systems and related technologies to guide the implementation process.
  • Analytical thinking: Capability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions based on insights.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Attention to detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the project.
  • Time management: Effective time management skills to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
  • Customer focus: Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of end-users and stakeholders.
  • Conflict resolution: Ability to manage and resolve conflicts that may arise during the project.
  • Financial acumen: Understanding of budgeting and financial management to keep the project within budget.
