The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a central role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable software across our engineering squads. This role
encompasses both manual and automated testing, covering functional, integration,
regression, performance, and AI-driven behaviours as we adopt intelligent agent
systems and features.
We’re looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team and
help ensure the quality of our software products. This role is ideal for someone early in
their QA career who is keen to develop skills in both manual and automation testing.
You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers,
gaining hands-on experience across the full testing lifecycle. Training, mentoring, and
support will be provided to help you grow your technical skills and progress your QA
career.

This is a full time, permanent role working on a hybrid basis 3 days per week in Manchester.
Core responsibilities:
- Contributing to the design and maintenance of manual and automated test cases.
- Executing comprehensive test cases covering manual, automated, functional and non-functional testing.
- Identifying, recording and tracking defects using a Azure DevOps.
- Working with developers and senior quality assurance engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Learning automated frameworks, such as RobotFramework and Playwright and best practices with guidance from senior quality assurance engineers.
- Contributing to improving QA practices and overall product quality.
