About the role

We are recruiting for an AI-focused Delivery Manager to help drive the development of our AI capabilities and enable our team to deliver innovative solutions. This role combines strategic planning and delivery management with hands-on involvement in AI tool development, including Copilot and other emerging technologies.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, document requirements, and manage the end-to-end delivery process, from backlog prioritisation to reporting success criteria. Alongside this, you will actively contribute to building and testing AI solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities include:

Use Case Definition & Documentation
  • Identify and define AI use cases, including opportunity, solution approach, success criteria, and dependencies.
  • Create clear and comprehensive documentation for each use case to guide development and delivery.
Squad Management
  • Determine resource requirements for each initiative and onboard squad members.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
Agile Delivery Management
  • Own and manage the delivery plan using Agile principles.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the most valuable features are delivered first.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Hands-On AI Development
  • Actively participate in building and configuring AI solutions, including Copilot integrations and other AI tools.
  • Work with developers and data engineers to prototype, test, and refine AI-driven features.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our solutions.
Success Criteria & Reporting
  • Define measurable success criteria for each initiative.
  • Track and report progress against objectives, providing clear updates to stakeholders
Communications & Executive Updates
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders.

Skills & experience

  • Business Analysis & Product Ownership: Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and prioritize effectively.
  • Agile Delivery: Experience managing backlogs, sprints, and delivery plans in an Agile environment.
  • AI & Data Knowledge: Understanding of AI concepts, data-driven solutions, and their application in business contexts.
  • Hands-On Technical Skills: Ability to work with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI APIs) and collaborate with technical teams on solution development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ability to produce clear, structured documentation and executive-level reporting.
  • Previous experience in AI or data-related projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to inspire.
  • Collaborates confidently with peers to deliver projects.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and takes overall ownership for delivering agreed outputs and outcomes to time, cost and quality targets.
