About the role

As the Head of IT Infrastructure you'll provide the resilient, secure, and scalable foundation upon which all Zellis Group services run. This role focuses on modernising our core infrastructure, ensuring networks run effectively, and ensuring robust connectivity, identify and access across the Group.
 
You'll build a high-performing, service-oriented function that enables our products, platforms and colleagues to "Unlimit What's Next."
 
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
 
  • Overseeing all corporate infrastructure, networks and connectivity.
  • Developing KPIs and SLAs for these areas and measuring performance.
  • Strengthening identity and access management, managing the corporate AD and Domains, including leading on post-merger integration.
  • Overseeing the VMWare estate, as well as Citrix, AVD, and other virtual environments.
  • Working the DevOps to ensure best practices in CloudOps.
  • Managing corporate VPNs and Firewalls.
  • Overseeing disaster recovery and operational resilience for corporate infrastructure.

Skills & experience

  • CISCO Networking and Microsoft Azure infrastructure certifications and experience.
  • Successful track record of leading infrastructure / platform operations at scale in a regulated or mission-critical environment.
  • Depth in two or more of: Azure core services, networking, identity (Entra ID / AAD), Windows / Linux platforming, storage / backup / DR, endpoint and device management, SRE principles.
  • Demonstrable FinOps / Cloud governance experience with measurable cost optimisation and policy enforcement.
  • Modern service management (ITIL / Agile / DevOps), incident / problem / change leadership and on-call readiness.
  • Experience within PE-backed, multi-organisation Group environments desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and vendor leadership; clear, confident communication.
