About the role

Transform data into decisions. Shape the future of People Analytics.

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Power BI Consultant to join Zellis' growing Data, Analytics & Automation Consulting Practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled consultant who thrives on solving business challenges through data. You'll work directly with customers to design and deliver impactful analytics solutions that help organisations make smarter decisions about their people, pay and workforce strategies. Whether you're leading discovery workshops, building insightful Power BI dashboards or advising senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in helping customers unlock the full value of their people data.

You'll join a growing and innovative team at an exciting stage of its journey, helping to build analytics solutions that drive meaningful outcomes for some of the UK's leading organisations.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Lead customer discovery sessions and requirements workshops to understand business challenges, objectives and reporting needs.
  • Design and develop engaging Power BI dashboards that transform people, payroll and HR data into meaningful, actionable insight.
  • Own the full consultancy lifecycle from initial scoping and solution design through to development, testing, deployment and customer handover.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand best practice in people analytics and dashboard visualisation.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, including data models, specifications and supporting documentation.
  • Deliver demonstrations, workshops and presentations to customers and prospective clients, showcasing the value analytics can deliver.

Skills & experience

We're seeking a customer-focused analytics professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Proven experience designing and deploying Power BI dashboards within customer-facing or enterprise environments.
  • Strong dashboard design and data visualisation expertise, with a clear understanding of what makes analytics practical, intuitive and decision focused.
  • Experience leading discovery workshops and engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and define business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of People Analytics, HR Analytics, Pay Analytics or Workforce Analytics, with an understanding of the metrics that matter to HR, Payroll and Reward leaders.
  • Strong data modelling and DAX skills with the ability to build scalable and high-performing reporting solutions.
  • A consultative approach with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
